situation solved. ordered a new needle. should be here hopefully by saturday. meanwhile, working tonight so hopefully i will make enough in tips to hit up Reckless on the way home and pick up another jazz record. this could become an obsession. hm.

listened to sonic youth's sister today. pretty enjoyable in a twisted way. i am going to sit with it for awhile before i rate it. the !!! record is growing on me. i am getting over some of the scat like lyrical absurdisms.
