i am currently taking a music class titled "from wagner to mtv". it is a class about music's impact on the visual arts starting with opera and ending with music videos. my teacher is a well read pony tail and sports jacket kinda guy who likes to drop obscure and odd references into his fast pace articulate lectures without even a hint of sarcasm. like 19 yr old girls that go to depaul have seen bergman films and listen to devo. ha! i have decided to devote a portion of this blog to recalling the days references and memorable quotes.
